To get the ball rolling.....
Would SLK owners post what mods/add-ons they have done to their cars? Any recommendations from experience.
Am just getting impatient waiting for my SLK32 and wish tomorrow is December 15!

H&R Cup Kit Suspension
Kenny, have you considered using the H&R Cup Kit? It claims that the car will be lowered by "more than 2 inches". Wonder how much will it affect the ride quality.
Do you know of anyone who has done this mod? Please share any info you might have.

I did a little to my '99 230 Sport, including AMG exhaust, AMG door sills, two-tone leather shift knob,
No mods to my 32, yet. I plan to install the 18" AMG Multipiece Styling III wheels with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 PPs (7.5x18ET37 w/ 225/40R18 in front and 8.5x19ET34 with 255/35R18 rear). It's an awfully expensive mod, though. Aprox. $3500.
The only other thing that I'd like to change is the front grill. DJH-online has a new one coming out that looks like the R230 SL grill . It's the best aftermarket grill for the SLK I've seen yet. I don't really mind the "electric shaver" look of the stock SLK grill, but I would like to know that I can get more air to my radiator in the blistering Arizona summer.

I really liked the SL type grille on myroadster.net, but after seeing the R230 style grille on DJH I am waiting to see if its going to be available through myroadster.net or something... the grille looks very nice.

this is whats on my car now .. just recieved my new rieger kit gonna put it on when I decided on the custom color my car is gonna be. Also I'm selling the rims on this car they're 19" and fit the car well even with the H&R springs (1.25 drop I think). And if anyone is intrested in the kit on my car currently I'm returning it to my sponsor so he can make a mold so they will be for sale in a few months. -for my other mods look at sign. Oh dammit I left out my audio equip in my sign

2002 SLK32 AMG
After owning a heavily modified Audi TT with about $8K worth of mods, I've decided that my 32 is staying stock for the most part. I've only done small things like the windscreen, valve stem covers, split side-view mirrors (great for blindspots!), and Porterfield R4-S brake pads. Hmmmmm, does a car cover count as a mod?
