SLK55 Runs a 12.2 @ 112
Had the car out to the track. Managed to get a warning about any faster they would not let me run again because of no roll bar
Only mods were: Green Filters, M/T Drag Radials

I did install NOS
http://www.slkworld.com/performance-...-sentence.html
Did not use it, this was the first run and got a warning that if I ran any faster I would not be allowed to run at the track till I had a full roll cage installed.

Ahhhh sweeeeet, that's what I'm talking about.
N.O.S. kit huh.. That should be fun. I previously used a Nitrous Express wet kit and had good luck. So where did you get the fuel supply to the solenoid? From the schrader on the rail or what? Did you put a purge kit on it? Sorry about the questions, but I was too impatient to read through all the other comments on the link. I don't know why they gave you a warning....
NHRA rules are that in a covertible, you must have a roll bar if you are running 11.00-13.49. Any slower and it doesnt matter, any faster and you need a cage. I ran a string of 13.0's at Moroso with no helmet and shorts on. They never said a word.
Next time you go, make one pass... then spray it and if they kick you out, fine. Go home with a new timeslip on juice.

Hey boys, wats dat? What r green filters, and how do they help you go!?
Anyone try it just stock, Benz saids 0-60 in 4.9, but the car mags come in much less, what gives?
Can someone tell me how to get one with my own color choice? Is it allowed?
kisses and hugs...x.x.x.x

Looking for a new toy.
Don't know about the mags, but mine ran 12.8 at 110.5 bone stock. Another guy on here ran a 12.7 stock as well. Don't seem to be too many other SLK55 owners into drag-racing though unfortunately. But it seems a safe bet to say they're high 12 cars stock, which isn't too shabby IMO.

I'm less than 2mph faster. it was just a good pass and that was with the help of green filters and Drag Radials
