Let me know the AMG will have just under 30K miles the SLK350 About 10K or less.

PS I have a 99' SLK230 right now.

kind of tough...

i mean, performance wise, the SLK32 is going to be a lot faster than the 350...but the 350 will be an overall nice car...it's quick, it's new and current generation so you won't get tired of it for a while.

if it doesn't bother you to drive a previous gen car, then go 32! I mean who can turn down 347 hp and a car that hits 0 to 60 mph in 4.7s...AND it's rare too...

SLK350, it's just much more fun to drive, sure the SLK32 is faster, I don't live my life a quarter mile at a time, I prefer the overall package. The styling (subjective) but most would say the r171 is much nicer in appearance, it's newer so new gadgets, technology, plus it handles alot better then the older one, all that combine makes it a much better driving experience. But you are asking this question in the r171 section, so my answer should've been obvious.

The R171 is just so much better overall, exterior, interior, fit and finish. Power can always be fixed (ECU, Cams, Kompressor). The potential for more is there. If you slap a Kompressor/ECU on the R171, you're looking at easily 400+bhp already. The suspension setup and overall driving experience is better in the R171.

R171. I would take the 350 over the 32 hands down. The overall design inside and out is far more pleasing...I have a 55 and I could be extremely happy with a MT 350.

Looking for a new toy.
I considered a used SLK32...until I tested the SLK55 . Seriously though, the SLK32 is still a quite capable car in the handling department (especially if you're looking for a daily driver and not just a track car), and it's power (as already mentioned) is much better than the 350. In the end they're both great cars, you can't really go wrong with either one. Just make sure you have both car inspected thoroughly before deciding!

SLK 350
I have owned the SLk32 and SLK350, and given the choice now I would go for the 350. I was realy unsure about losing the power of the AMG, but the 350 isn't that much slower, and is so much more of a complete drivers car in terms of handling etc (steering especially). The 32 is great fun though, and very very fast in a straight line. Be prepared to spend money on rear tyres though, mine lasted 8K miles a pair!

Good luck...

The SLK350 is fast enough and it´s newer and prettier.
