A bit short notice: Lease questions

Hey guys, one of my family members are heading to the dealers tomorrow to pick up a new SLK350 or 280, depending on the price differences.

Shes a lady coming out of a 2001 GS300 with the platnium pkg.

anything in particular you would add as an option with no regret!?

bi-x and heated seats are a definite. since my E500's NAVI doesnt work that great, shes debating on getting it or not.

thanks in advance.

Definitely, DO NOT forget the AirScarf to go along with the heated seats. I say, the more options, the better.

I agree, thats why I told her, but she has a budget. So im guessing, MORE OPTIONS on a SLK280 than SLK350. depends on how much power she wants.

A 280 fully loaded should be enough for her, heated seats, airscraf, and bi-xenons are a must. Unless she does alot of traveling outside of familiar place, I would skip on the NAV, I've only used it maybe 3 times in a year and a half.

I agree. What Mercedes charges for the NAV option is ridiculous and it isn't really all that good. I bought a Tomtom for $ 400.00. It blows away the MB unit as far as technology and you can take it from car to car. It's not built-in, which bothers a lot of people, but most people don't use the NAV all that much, so being able to share it between cars makes it a better investment IMO.

Airscarf a must

i have to concur with the others in that the AirScarf is a must and
that the Navi isn't worth it.

Yeah, I would have to say of all the things I am glad I got was the heated seats and airscarf. It is a must have.

I regret not getting the bi-xenons and the upgraded stereo with COMMAND. And personally, I think the power seats are more appropriate on a $ 50,000 + car (I did get that).

If she cares at all about handling or the sporty look, the amg sports pkg is worth it for 4k.

I also really enjoyed the airscarf. I regret not having the lighting pkg (bi-xenon).
