How did you do that?. Is the plate connected to the tow hook? I see no holes on the front bumper. A friend of mine with a SLK350 has for some reason 5 holes for the front plate. I feel for you and everyone in Cali for the strict law of front plates. In Connecticut it's required as well but rarely enforced(thankfully).

A+ for innovation. I just couldn't live with the plate off center. Virginia also requires front and rear plates. I have personalized plates on all our cars, it eases the pain.

Officer: that's a beautiful car.. why put front license plate on it
me: i know but that's what i got written up for
Officer: Back when i live in Mississippi they don't require front plate, btw, why dont' you have front plate stickers?
me: Don't you only get stickers for the rear plate only? (and i show him the other car in the parking lot, which turn out only rear has stickers)
Officer: (signed the ticket) have a nice day

Sounds like even the cop was on your side. Shouldn't he know the law about having a sticker only on the back plate?

I like the look!! Would you please post details about the hardware you used? What type of bolt/fastener did you use to attach the plate to the tow hook hole? What is the bracket that you have attached to the back of the plate frame?

This is why I'm grateful that I'm a cop, haha. NEver have to worry about BS tickets like that.

Where were you when Kira needed you. If you don't have to worry about a ticket like that, what about having to worry about obeying the posted speed limit.
