is this premium wheel?
well, my gf's dad just bought a 2009 slk 300, and according to the paper, it says
premium wheel + $700, i wonder if this is a premium wheel or regular alloy wheels
it looks exactly the same as this. thanks

No, Not starting with the 2009 MY cars. 16s were goners.
SLK 300s and 350s both at 17s in 2009 MY. I know as I considered having the wheels from a 300 pulled off a car on the lot and moved to my 350.
SLK280s (MY05-08) has 16-inchers standard.
This is for the United States.
Something else could be the case in other countries, or most likely is the case (different in other countries).

DId your friend purchase it from a dealer or where?
I'm not sure where someone would break down the price of a car by parts like that anyway?
The car comes with what's on it unless you ask for something additional.
Well, as you say, there isn't much to be done about it now.
It's a decent looking wheel though. After all, I thought it looked better than the wheel that came on my 350.

yea, my gf dad bought it from the dealer, according to the sales its fully loaded, but im just not sure if thats premium wheel or regular wheel, because it is a used car and they didnt have to sticker for the car. and the sales just click the options, i do not know if the sales click the wheel just to add the price or it is really a premium wheel.

GO find the 2009 brochure and you will see it.
Of course, as I say, it's probably wasteful to make yourself worry about it now.
Though you might let the manager know it wasn't tasteful.

Sound like a case of dealer and or sales person lingo to enhance the sale.

yea i guess nuttin i can do, dont want to bring it up to her family, sigh i was too stupid enough to not think that car was a demo. when we walk in the sales just said some executive drove it for a week and have 515 miles on it and never register, and he showed us the carfax report with nothing on it since its never register. lesson learned.

Honestly, dealers say and do anything.
Just look at ebay. They claim cars have xenons, premium sound packages, etc. when most don't, they are stock.
Sadly, sometimes they actually don't know. They know nothing about cars.
