Base+Opt section on NetStar printout?
I just got a fax with a printout from NetStar showing my order and I noticed the at the bottom you can see a Order Cycle: 09/01 (in my case) and next to it there is a section that says Base+Opts with a $ figure. Since the fax that I received is not really clear I was wondering if some of you guys who already got this can check it out and see if you have that info as well.
From my copy I can see the following number "$467776" or "$487778" (I can't tell if it is a 6 or 8) which doesn't make any sense.
Any thoughts?

The dollar figure is meaningless because they have not yet announced prices. My salesman specifically told me to ignore that field.
I also have 09/01 in the order cycle, though I'm hoping for an update now that MB is assigning build dates.

as far as your production dates 9/1 what that means is your car will be built in the first 10 days of september. we refer to it as 1st decade of september, which usually means you should have your car by 2nd decade of october. we usually say that from production to delivery allow 30-45 days, but it is all up to mercedes. any way it is still worth the wait, as i have a customer who lives both in germany and illinois and has been driving her 350 and absolutely loves it, so much so she just ordered one for here. said it really reminds her of her 04 sl.

send me a pm with info where your car is ordered and with what equipt, and i should be able to tell you when your car is in production, from what we understand, every dealer will be given a car to be built for a customer in their first allocation, but many times people are told they are number 1, when in fact they are number 2 or 3 but only behind the dealer.

amiras' car is not showing up on a locate in the Netstar system. This does not mean that his car is not ordered, but will most likely get a build spot in the allocation run from MBUSA!

amiras,
Don't get too nervous, it just means that your car is not officially "Scheduled, Not Produced". It is still in the "Build Request" stage in Netstar's order bank and is awaiting an open allocation from the factory.
