SLK 55
As the 55 is a naturally aspirated engine don't expect too much hp gain from chip alone. It will change the dynamics of the engine performance. I did the Renntech chip, headers and carbon graphite intake. The rwhp went from 295 to about 320.

Also, when the results come back, they will include ECU, Thermotec, and Green Filters.
Hopefully I'll push 2 or 3 more ponnies than ECU alone

Finally picked up the car. No Before or After Dyno!
The excuse I got was "You wanted the car in and out so fast we didn't have time for a Dyno"
I doubt I will be doing any more Kleemann upgrades with these guys (Macedo Motorsports). Chris Chappas at C2 Design will get my business from now on even though he's in Tampa.
Impressions:
I can feel the throttle response has improved and the car is pushing a few more ponies. Tonight I will put on some more thermotec under the airboxes to cover the un-covered spots and hopefully that will help with colder air intake.
Aside that, I will give the track at Orlando Speed World a visit and see If i can do better than my 12.725 back in Feb. http://www.dragtimes.com/Mercedes-Be...slip-5170.html

Did you tell and specify to them you wanted a before and after dyno before you dropped your car off? I mean i know you "felt" more ponies but how can you really tell you paid for what you get? In any case hopefully you really get the full potential of the ECU.
When I find time in the next week or two, I will drive to Tampa to get my pullies installed by C2 design (Evosport underdrive pullies) and will have Chris Chappas take a before duno which I will compare with another member's SLK55's here who had a stock dyno done. And of course a after-dyno with the pullies. *Sorry for the long run-on sentence.
But again, hopefully I'll see some results this friday at the track even though it is still hot here in Florida! I will post a vid!
