Basically a Ferrari, and your service costs with one reflect it. The SLK would probably end up the cheaper car.
The Maserati also depreciates very quickly and by a great deal. I'd personally go all the way and get a Ferrari rather then a Maser.
Me? I'd stick with the SLK55. You? You may want to take a look at and a drive in a Gransport (especially if you're a Ferrari fan).
The GS are also holding their values pretty strong compared to the rest but they still are a relative steal at 87-95K.
Maserati has updated the CC in the coupes/verts but the GS CC Program is totally different, most people have taken care of this "problem" with EuroTeks ECU which also gives another 85ft/lbs.

I didn't mind the jerkiness in Sport but in comfort mode it was quite annoying.
I do have to say that I LOVED the sound of this car, especially with sports mode on.
