Isn't it amazing how Benz can charge $8000 for paint & leather that should be standard anyway...or worse $7000 for a "performance" package on a performance vehicle that should once again be standard. Nice car though.

Thanks for the nice comments. I love it so far. Very different from the 03 SL55 that I had for a year - more fun actually. I decided I could afford a new SLK55 and I always wanted Designo Graphite. The package is expensive, as BiTurboBenz says, but to me it was worth it. None of us would be driving SLK's if money was the most important thing.

I was looking at a Cayman S, and it had 5mm wheel spacers (which I still don't know why they put it) for $400 extra! for spacers! that you don't need!
