For those with resonator removed...

I had my resonator cut off last week and the sounds is great at low speed. Around 3 to 4 thousands rpm it sounds like a mustang crossed breed with a harley. I loved it.

But, at full throttle, it seem like it's not quite as agressive as the car's sounds when the resonator was still on. I mean, when you have the resonator on, at full throtle, the car have this huge WHOOMP wall of sounds. Now ith out the resonator, it sounds like a steady built of RAAHHHGG sounds. Have you noticed this? Or is it that I'm so use to the loudness of the sounds now (with out resonator) at lower speed that when it does kick in at full throtle, I'm sort of desensitized?

Sounds great, I'd already ordered the Magnaflow X-Pipe to replace the resonator, and all I need now is the car so I can get more rumble out of it, hate the wait!!!!

I thought your set up was just the supersprint xpipe, kleeman primaries and that's it??? You have cutouts as well?

No cutouts but its loud, I've got the headers from Kleemann which will be installed tomorow hopefully. I assume it will sound marginally louder since the primary cats will be deleted in stead of new downpipes if I am not mistaken.

The headers cost 3125 if I am not mistaken, I got them from C2 design of Tampa, Florida and thats with shipping.

Shipping to Kuwait costs 325 and withing 3 days, so I dont think its bad. Since you are located in the U.S you can get it for cheaper rate since the package only weights 22lbs.

if your looking for a name brand x-pipe you could go with magna flow or supersprint but personally I dont know if there really will be much of a difference between them

My Magnaflow unit just arrived, which is the same piece as I put on my E550, and it's been working very well since the day installed.

Do not buy the supersprint unit.....it's the most overpriced piece of exhaust I've ever seen...Get a mangaflow.....

Agreed! Also Magnaflow is a very good company that I believe many Euro tuners over look because when you think Magnaflow you usually think america muscle. I had a full setup on my BMW and it sounded way better than any $1000 system a lot of the other users were using... just my .02 though

I also use Magnaflow products on my 1800lbs Ford Focus dragster, been fine since day one, top notch craftsmanship. Highly recommended.
