i will never forget trying a SLK 55 AMG
yesterday i went to RIchmond Automall Benz dealer and tried a 07 SLK55i feel excited when i walk to the car.. i judge the car and i think is so pretty i turned on the Engine.. the sound was so good..when i driving it i can feel the speed lol i turned off the radio just to hear the sound ..
well i was excited really.. anyone has this feeling when they first drive it?

mines 09 C63 is coming this month
yeah i can't wait for it..
but SLK55 is so good too
i mean every AMG machine when u step on the acc is just like
controling a monsterxd

Did you get to drive a C63 before you ordered it? Wondering what your thoughts are between driving them. I did have the pleasure to drive a C63 a couple weeks ago and it was an experience I won't soon forget. Obviously I know a C63 and SLK55 are completely different beasts, I'm interested in what you thought of the pulling power and acceleration.
I'm thinking of picking up a '06 or newer SLK55 after we move.

yeah i think they totaly different driving style
i never get a chance to try .. because they dont have any C63 in richmond.. we have to order it.. im waitting mines coming
i love the sound.. i feel like driving an amg is just a pleasure really
good experience get to try SL next time

I almost bought an slk55 before getting my c63. But there was something about only 1 passenger that had my thinking. And it also had the old powerplant. Still, the slk55 is one sexy beast!

I love both of these cars and thoroughly enjoy driving them whenever we have one in to tune.
They are both so different, I doubt that I could pick between the two... so knowing me, I would end up with both!

I never test drive a AMG before and my SLK350 engine sounds very attractive
unlike the beef up Japanese Honda and Mazda ****.....

I would love to get my hands on an SLK55 and then fit the AMG supercharger on it. That would be one hell of a fun car.
But like MJ said, after 3 hours you're gonna want to kill yourself in that tiny thing.
