Mercedes
Increase the power, decrease the price. Than sales will pickup.

I don't think that they're behind on sales with the SLR. My sources tell me that the power and any sheetmetal (can you still say 'sheetmetal' about a CF car?) changes to the SLR (like the already newly offered interior and exterior color options) are more of a 'mid-production refreshment' which in my experience MBZ tends to do with all of their cars....

The SLR is definetly not behind in sales, in fact the SLR is doing better than the Porsch CGT and Enzo in sales. The Ferrari Enzo was very limited to begin with though. MB is not doing this to increase sales it`s just a mid-life improvement.

You're too intelligent to be in Kansas City.

Great news!! Interesting though, it looked like they had wrung out as much power as possible, because even Brabus could only add 34hp more to their version of the SLR..

The sticker price has always been reasonable. The street price has always been ludicrous.

You see photos of people hoarding 20 SLR's for sale at 3x the sticker price. With this rumoured new version you can expect to see the old version move a lot faster.

Mid-life crisis is more like it. Hopefully they will fix the brake problem all of the SLRs have.

Ahhhh Grasshopper, I am verrrrrrry smart -- that's why I now have a residence and a business in the UAE...Dubai is the new world Las Vegas.
But you both sound too smart to be in KC metro area! LOL
And here's hoping that they do fix the brake squeel....
