HELP Jumping SLR

How do I jump the SLR, in the trunk it says to check owners manual and not jump it from the post, (don't have owners manual handy). The battery is completely dead

It can be quite difficult if you've never done it before, I remember I had trouble the first time with mine.

..You should really call MB roadside assist and have them come and replace the battery for you, Its free if the SLR is still under warranty.

There's a way to charge it in the trunk under the carpet, I won't try it myself, because I am way too nervous that I will cause harm to the car, So I just have the MB guys do it for me. Its the best way, especially with a supercar like the SLR.

I called roadside the other day. I didn't think it should go dead in 2 months of storage. My Phantom does the same thing. With how much these cars cost, you'd think they would have figured something as simple as this out by now.

Maybe you guys can try hooking up an MB trickle charger to keep the battery charged.

Satan & BRUTALLYHONEST

The SLRs have dual battery setup. Should not go dead for several months. Both of you should have the cars checked for proper charging of both batteries. Don't jump start it. Connect battery charger to starter battery (the smaller of the two) and let it charge up slowly.
