SLS/R197/C197 AMG: SLS with the new 5.5L Biturbo?
AMG was able to spend the extra money on a dry sump system because the 6.3 was at the end of it's cycle.
Look at the bigger picture and it is quite clear why they chose the N/A 6.2 engine. The car is designed to be a sports car with very well balanced handling characteristics, hence the dry sump which not only lowers the center of gravity, but also guarantees all the engine internals to be lubricated even under high cornering speeds. But most importantly, Mercedes wants to compete in the FIA GT3 class, which only allows N/A engines.
Don't get me wrong, the 6.2 engine is a masterpiece, but I was personally hoping to one day be able to get a 5.5TT SLS. Either way, all of you SLS drivers. Baby your cars please, one day I might be buying yours

HOWEVER, I have heard rumors of a "baby SLS" in the works that would use some type of smaller TT. Small V8 or maybe just V6.
