SLS exhaust system

We have our first major product offering for the Mercedes SLS. We have a complete exhaust system available for the car that includes the mufflers AND a secondary cat delete pipe kit.

It is also an electronically valved system that adjusts back pressure while you are driving to give you the broadest power gains throughout the entire RPM range. It comes with a remote control that allows you to control when the valves open up and so you can adjust the exhaust for cruising mode, sport mode or track mode at the touch of a button.

This is by far the most superior system available for your SLS and it is priced feasibly to make it the perfect addition for your ride.

PRICE- $6350.00
INSTALL- $995.00

What system do you recommend and how much is it? I guess you weren't happy with the Capristo, what didn't you like about it on your car? I always welcome any firsthand knowledge, especially from someone who tells me that an exhaust that I am promoting as advanced, is telling me instead that it's the worst.

I have seen a lot of systems for other cars compared to the Capristo and in most of those cases the Capristo has been of a higher quality. I do not have the luxury of comparing a bunch of systems for the SLS. Since you seem to be an SLS owner, maybe you have tried all the systems on your car and have compared them all.

I welcome your input. Hopefully it is more insightful than your other posts in this thread.

Yes, I saw your thread but I believe we are comparing apples to oranges. For one, I am not offering headers or an x-pipe in my post. I am offering a valved exhaust system which consists of the rear and mid section, nothing like you have described as having purchased in your thread.

The work is on the Supersprint headers looks great and I hope that they give you everything that you are searching for but I do believe that what we have offered is totally different and in no way related to what you have done to your car.

It is your right to feel that this product is "THE WORST" but I find that statement to be incorrect and uncalled for. I have nothing bad to say about Supersprint or any other companies products but I especially have nothing bad to say about the Capristo exhaust systems as I have never had any complaints from the Audi and Lamborghini customers that have used the product, I do not find any reason to expect the Mercedes customers to be upset with it either.

I look forward to seeing how well your car works with all the modifications that you have done. Good luck with everything. I was hoping that you had tried out some different mufflers or exhaust systems that allowed you to make such an informative post in my thread. Maybe you will get to that part of your car later, or maybe you are just satisfied with the stock mufflers which appear to be pretty good as well.

Thank you,

I get your point now. I apologise. I was under the impression that we were talking about an exhust system for the SLS in general. Ive driven an SLS with the Capristo system installed here in Qatar. The valve opening is controlled near the transmission. It has a wonderful sound tone. But what about power?

I'll tell you what I will do. When I get one in here I will try and convince the customer to allow me to take it to the dyno and I will pay for the before and after dyno time so we can have an idea. Truth be told though, most of my customers are interested in an exhaust more for the sound quality. They like to take a car like an SLS, and make it sound more exotic.

Most of the performance oriented customers that we have are driving C63's or E55's because they fit into the price range of my performance conscious customers.

Our goal here is to deliver a product that our customers want, and we feel that the Capristo exhaust offers our customers a good option to meet there needs.

What you have purchased is a very cool set up for your car and I am sure that you and your brother will turn a lot of heads with your car. I know that I will be paying attention to your progress and look forward to how your car sounds. I am sure it will sound like and animal and will be very loud.

Are you planning to go to the track at all with the car?
