Furthermore it is not a traditional "paint" and requires special materials and a very special application process. It actually takes days to paint a car in alubeam. The SLS BS color Soloarbeam is a simalar type paint and carries a huge premium as well due to complexity of application.

Yes, once you pointed it out, i can see some of the matte's hidden there, i'm very interested to see one in real life, so sad
my sls probably will be in Le Mans Red, coming next week.
of course,See it in person and you will know. Photos do not do it justice. It almost looks like polished bare metal in person, like a matte chrome almost.
