Works also if you have a friend at an MBZ dealership.
Mine was missing the extended carbon fiber package(seats and door sill). I wasn't the 1st owner so maybe it was a dealer installed option?

Previous owner (PO) added them - much like I have to mine - by ordering the parts and installing them either by himself or having the dealership do it. It wasn't a "dealer installed option" per se, the PO probably just had a change of heart after receiving the car.

Was a corporate lease car though. I would think you would have the dealer install it at time of purchase so you don't pay for it outright, but rather amortize it in the lease. Either way, glad it's there. Don't car too much about the carbon seat back or side, but the door sill looks really nice. Of course so does center console and engine bay, just glad I didn't have to pay the MSRP prices to get all of those.

The ceramic brakes are kind of annoying, they squeak in city driving. I've re-bed them, which fixed the problem but only for a couple of weeks. Nice thing about them is you don't have to replace the rotors, pretty much ever. Makes for cheaper brake jobs.

The CF seat backs are a bit pointless if you ask me. If you're taller than 5'10", you probably can't see more than 2 inches of the CF 99% of the time. My guess is there is zero weight savings as well.

I love the CCBs. Mine used to squeak at low speeds as well but not lately. Even when it happens I just kind of "own it" and am like - yeah, because racecar.

They could have ordered 2013 parts which are black and put them on.

It is a MBUSA number but give them a call I'm sure they could give you the right number outside of the US.
