Hi,

Thank you for the feedback and posting your Ad. If your item is searched for it will display in the results and as more members create new listings more traffic will review the new Market Place. I don’t think it will take long for members to search both the old classifieds and the new Market Place.

When I enter the "Looking to Buy" area it takes me to a List to Sell page after the first page asking what year range, make/model I am looking for.......?

Hi,

Thank you for the question. That may be the default result when there is not a WTB ad in the category you are searching. I'll find out today.

Please let us know if you have specific feedback to improve the marketplace. What do the old classifieds offer that you don't find in this new marketplace?

Thank you!

Navigation is too granular ... how do I pull up all S-class cars? Once there I can decide which ones are currently available and what to look at closer. The new design would make a person check off twenty model numbers to see all S-class.

Also, because AMG cars so predominate the classifieds, how about a top level selection for "AMG" or "Regular"? I suspect AMG lovers don't want to scroll through regular cars and vice versa. And again, no one would take the time to click one box after another for S55, S63, Sxx, etc.

Hello. Is it possible to close your own wanted listings? I try to edit the title saying I am done looking and found a part, but the title is not being updated. If so, add feature to close/end wanted listings (unless you are able to and I don't see the option?)

Hello. Thanks for the response and even showing me it where with my profile as an example. That is what I was thinking it should be located before. The thing is, I am only seeing edit listing and don't see any other tools??

Hi,

Sorry, I forgot the additional options are available only to site staff. Let me know if you want your listing closed, marked sold, or deleted. Thanks!

Feedback of users who sell, or attempt to sell, items is vital.

While looking for M156 ROW Air Boxes, a user contacted me, offered ROW air boxes at a decent price ($250) and sent a photo. As a matter of personal security, I reversed searched the image and sure enough, it was a crop of a 2009 posted photo.

At present, there is no thread or forum for user rating, feedback or capturing situations like this. Nor the routine, successful transactions from the majority of members.

Hi,

We do have the Itrader system, you can view a member's Itrader history and leave feed back from a member's profile. Is this what you are asking about? Thanks.

https://mbworld.org/forums/itrader.php?u=416527

The announcement is here: https://mbworld.org/forums/site-anno...ow-active.html

Sir,

While looking at this specific users profile I do not see this as an option to view. Using the link you provided as a template, inputting their user ID (itrader.php?u=XXXXXX), it was retrieved. I would submit that it is difficult and counter-intuitive, when a simple sub forum can be generated within the sales area with a sticky that provides format rules (ie Subject must be “Feedback for user NoahWeb”). This builds something easily searchable for users to find and gain knowledge on prior to the sale.

My .02. Overall just looking to make sure the likelihood of someone getting screwed is a minimized as possible.

Thanks!

Noah

Ok, please left click the sellers screen name in the for sale thread. Click on 'View Itrader Profile' at the bottom of the drop down. Also, please PM me the name of the seller.

The Itrader system has certain checks to ensure that feedback given is for a transaction on MBworld and at least one of the two people in the deal was the person who created the thread. Itrader ask and checks the URL of the thread to enforce that rule. Let me know if that works for you.
