whats the difference between v2 and v3?
and you say do you have to splice wires in order to get it to work? or what do you mean by re-pin?

The main difference between the two is that the V3 allows for a bigger drop, I believe like 4" all around, the V2 has (I believe) a 2" drop all around. The V2 can be used with a windows laptop via USB cable or purchase the remote (extra $). The V3 can be used with a windows laptop or the tablet PC (extra $) both via USB cable. As far as the re-pin, it's pretty simple, all you really do is move wires from the stock harness to the new Renntech module. You do this by sliding the wire out of the OEM harness and sliding it into the the Renntech module, you just need to follow the instructions and move one wire at a time and follow the color codes. I have the V3 and to be honest if I could go back I would have gotten the V2 with the remote. 2" drop all around is more then enough, if you drop it any lower you get the "vehicle too low" message on the dash anyway. The V3 at max drop would only be used at a photo shoot or something like that I would think because I don't think you could drive like that. Hope this helps
