No officer would be party to such unbecoming conduct.
I’ve always sold used hardware via this (and any) forum with a three-day right of refusal upon receipt.
Had they not been a fair deal and “exactly as described/pictured,” buyer would be entitled to a prompt refund with no questions asked.
Bespeaks a man’s character that no one ever felt slighted or was compelled to seek redress with those transactions.
Suggest you immediately contact g0dzilla to make him whole, lest your MBW tenure cease before you’ve opportunity to post again.

Splinter is right, you have to be honest and detailed about the condition of the things you sell in this community, even if it reduces your bottom line. I've sold plenty of things and I make sure to make everyone aware of the flaws of the product and I make sure to take pics of those flaws. I had to reduce the price of some H&R springs because they were damaged and I had never looked at them. I had a buyer and he was willing to pay the price that I was selling them for, but I told him to wait until I got pics up and sure enough they were damaged. So I told him that I couldn't sell them to him in that condition. Someone did buy it, but at a reduced price and I quadruple checked that he was aware of the condition of the springs.
Make it right with the buyer and offer to take the coilovers back and refund him his money if that's what he wants. If you want to offer him a deal, refund him an amount that both of you can agree on.

Certainly serving the USN you understand the legal and moral concept of misrepresentation.

The seeming failure of you to disclose ostensibly defective hardware unloaded on another member of this forum is not taken lightly by Staff.
The gist of my ‘do right in your dealings’ message was apparently lost in translation.
Have you contacted gOdzilla to discuss his dissatisfaction regarding your “He got a DEAL! Plain and simple!” transaction?
Specifically, for the parts that you sent him which were allegedly broken and/or damaged?

Your chosen career path or “lively hood” [sic] is of no concern to me.

The seller's reply to me was that I was getting a deal on them, and that he wasn't going to do anything for me.
I needed to buy new spring perches, adjustment wrenches, and have a machine shop fix the damaged threads on the strut tube.
I guess you have to pay to play, I have no ill will, I'm sure kharma will take its own toll on people like that. Thanks guys.
