w211 4matic amg brake group buy
Ok so finally Ive contacted someone willing to fabricate an adapter for us with 4matic's looking to upgrade our brakes to the amg 6 pot fronts & 4 pot rears.
Now that its all together I'm posting a group buy so we can get 15% off the cost.
They are only willing to sell the fronts as a package, That will include adapters (brackets) 2 piece rotors and pads. We need at least 3 buyers for the 15% discount and as Ive read in my search to get these calipers installed on my 4matic there should be at least another two that are buying.
There selling the front package with or without calipers and Im looking into my own calipers at the moment.
But still there package might be easier then searching for a set...
Pm me for Group buy and lets figure out when everyone is ready...
I'm told ETA will be 2-3 weeks from the last order/payment received.

Do the clk/slk front calipers share the same spread as well ?,because I'm looking at a set online and would love to save the weight as there smaller 6 pot..

Generally; all 6/8-pot "mounting spread" is: (256mm), but the difference in the "mt-spread",
Except 6-pot "CLK55/CLK63/SLK55", which uses: (196mm), "mounting spread", with (110mm), "mt-spread"
W211 E55/E63 "mt-spread" should be: (110mm), but not so sure about your E350 4-matic spindle "mt-spread"..?!?
you can contact to "RB brakes" for more clarification, or measure your Exist spindle "mt-spread", to avoid any confusion..!!

Ok so there adapters won't mount to the clk/slk calipers. I will contact them. But I know the spindle spread is the same other then the Amg m14 vs my m12 bolts.

If you positively sure about "mt-spread", then 6-pot calipers & Rotors from "CLK55/CLK63/SLK55" should work, with some adjustable touch..!,,
just double check, and measure your caliper bolts "mt-spread", for more confident..

Former Vendor of MBWorld
8 piston calipers are too tall (no room for adaptor) for 360mm rotor set up although can adapt to 390mm rotor kit.
6 piston is a newer standard for all Mercedes performance brakes on C63, C63 BS, E63, GT S while 8 piston calipers are being obsolete and cost more to maintain (rebuild & pad replacement).
We will only sell the package with two piece rotors and adaptor as a minimum, you can source your own calipers with deduct but no adaptor only to assure the compatibility and overall performance improvement. as it's pointless to upgrade to larger calipers with heavy and bulky one piece rotor weighing 36 lbs.
We have offered the same upgrade kit for C63 upgrading to 390mm rotor with very satisfactorily result on both street and track applications.

Warren & friends,
i'm using 8-pot calipers from W211 E55 with W212 E63 brackets in my friend's W210 front spindle,
2 weeks ago, i put 390mm Rotors from SL65 BS, with 8-pot calipers from W220 S65 in my W202 front spindle,,
i tried many 6-pot calipers brackets(from W220 S600 & W204 C63 & R230 SL55/600), they all has the same mounting spread points with 8-pot calipers..

Would I be able to buy the 390mm adapters for the c63/e63 in the future if I wanted to upgrade or would you guys need to make one again?
Also the clk/slk calipers won't work with the adapter kit I'm getting now because I might get a set of the front clk Calipers if the weight is to much. Or vise versa if it doesn't bother me weight wise with the 360mm and goto 390mm next year or so...
Thanks

+1,
RB brakes(Warren) can customize any bracket or Rotor or Rotor Hat, that depend of spindle spec.,
bracket spread size + Rotor Hat height are the KEY for any custom work, which is soo easy to make with RB's magic touch..
