Hi,

Your bulb type is 2007 MERCEDES-BENZ CLK (With halogen capsule headlamps)
Low beam headlamp
H7
High beam headlamp
H7
Fog/Driving light
H11 /H7

YOur fogs are either H11 or H7, your model in that year came with two options and I would not know which kit your car has so for the fogs, you will need to double check by consulting with your manual or calling your dealership to find out.

Also, what color would you like for each of the beams? each kit is $60 shipped within US after coupon code: fspecial-m

3000K (yellow, most people get this for fogs)
5000K (White with light yellow tint, closest to oem HID)
6000K (Pure white)
8000K (White with light blue tint)

Let me know. Thanks!

Michelle

Hi,

I think some cars have Daytime running light, so pretty much it could be the DRL, but other than that, it's just extra set of lights to keep the road visible to you

R-350

Just bought an R-350 a week ago and am looking to upgrade the lights.

My question is this:

For some reason, when i bought the car, the left light looks yellow and right light looks more clear. i replaced the H7 lights with 4000k Slyvania's and they still have that odd look. I guess that means one of the glass lens is dirty?

Either way, if i get HID lights, will this problem i have affect the HID's?

Also, i want some blue but 8000k appears to have a strong blue based on pics i've seen on the internet. Do you have 7000k?

HI,

Yes the discoloration could be a cause of your headlights covers or the wire that transfers the power, the HID should rid partially the power because of it's higher voltage and brighter features. Our 8000K is white with light blue tint and 6000K is pure white but on some cars may have slightly SOME blue too. Please let me know which color you want and I can get you the link to your H7. thanks!

Michelle

I had the same question as you... An MB Service Advisor said that an HID conversion kit shouldn't affect warranty if it works properly...

Basically, if you mod your car for any reason, they will void certain parts of the warranty (not all of it) if they find out that the mod caused the problem.

Check out Nate's link:

Having said that, high quality conversion kits are relatively safe if installed properly.

Thanks Gabe.

One last set of questions before i order.

Has anyone installed these in an R350?

Does HIDExtra include SPECIFIC instructions for the R-Class?

I've heard some HID's flicker. Will these lights flicker and is there a way to handle the error's that are supposed to get flagged by the computer?

First, let me say that you have done amazingly well on this forum which can turn on vendor like a pit of vipers if something goes wrong. This tells me you have a good product and your customer support has been excellent.

I have been very tempted to convert my sisters 2004 Camry to HID for the low beams, 9006, and with your current pricing I might do the 9005 highs as well. So if the Silverstar Ultras don't do it for her I WILL be a customer, regadless of my concerns below.

I do have a couple of concerns/questions.
1. You state your kit, actually the bulb, does not scatter, why? I am concerned about this because I do not want the cops attention.
2. I do not want the cops attention because putting an HID in a housing designed for a halogen violates federal vehicle codes. I am stating this as a fact, but if you have a different view can you say?

P.S. beam may vary slightly upon different vehicles such as (YR make model and height, for examples for trucks or SUVs, the cutoff may be higher)
Thanks for your response in advance. If you are not comfortable to answer #2 on the forum, PM me.

Has anyone ordered the 3000K for their lows?

Michelle, do you have any pix of the 3000k installed in the lows? Those are the brightest right @ 4000 lumens?

Hi,

Just as long as you don't mount it on top of really hot metal objects, that would be fine. thanks!
