Just finished installing the fogs (H7 6000K) took a bit over an hour. Going to get the D2S low beam bulbs 6000K installed later today, getting it done from a shop.

Is it a straight forward install? I mean, it looks like you didn't remove the bumper and just removed screws near the fog light casing.
Where did you place the ballast? Did you zip tie it? By the way, did you use error cancellers on the fogs?

As for the ballasts, I basically just left them behind the fog lamp, they're water-proof so i'm not really worries. I used error the error cancelers, however, when I first wired them up without them they worked fine, but when I left the car running the lights began to flicker after about 10 mins. So I ended up using the cancelers and everything was fine.

Just pulled the trigger on 6000k H7 and 6000k 9006 for my fogs...
I'm interested to see how the install will be on my SRT6. Should be fun.

2005 E500 4matic
Is my car the only car that gets errors with these? I have an 05 E500 4matic. I have 2 kits, 1 for fogs and 1 for lows. I used the error cancelers in the fogs, but I still get errors for the right fog and sometimes it take about 5 seconds for the right fog to turn on. As for the lows, I'm not sure if there are 2 difent types of errors cancelers but the sockets do not match up. I had someone put in capacitors for the lows to stop the errors but just like the fogs, I get errors for the right low beam. Why the right? It sems that the error cancelers and capacitors are working; but only for the left side? Does anyone have an Idea why?

The passenger side was alot easier since there is so much more space to get your hand in and move around, driver's side is PITA and much more time consuming because your hand is in such an awkward angle. And there isnt anywhere to mount the ballast, so i taped it to the wheel guard and so far its worked.
You do have to modify the retaining clip for the headlight since the HID lamp base is a bit thicker than the stock base. If you want, i did take pictures to see if my lights were installed correctly since you cant exactly tell if its in the right place...

I called them and asked it it was plug and play - don't have to do anything else. The answer was yes - full plug and play- no extra work required.
So, ordered 3 sets for all lights
1. error capacitors for one set missing.
2. had to mod retaing clips.
3. had to drill lamp dust covers
4. find a place to mount those huge ballasts
5. wires too short to mount ballasts in good locations
It was easy to install initially but dealing with all the butchery to complete it was too much for me.
I guess if I had a 10 year old Japanese commuter car I would not have cared - would zip tie them or stick those ballasts to the engine cover or Inner fenders LOL.
I was promised a full refund since was not plug& play as represented.
I did return them with no hassle and receive a credit less %15 restocking which they refunded after emailing them about "full refund promised" which I thought included the shipping since it was supposed to be plug & play.
Because I'm in Canada I'm out $100 on two ways of shipping. Hmmm I guess I'm spoiled by yoox.com that prepays shipping if not happy.
I did purchase this spontaneously so my bad.

Here is the standard bulb fitting. You have to modify this clip to fit the HID bulb. To remove it, push down on the top portion and slide the top portion out of the guide slots. I also found it easier to reinstall the top portion first and try to "snap" the bottom into place.

Here is a picture of the HID bulb installed. What whiteongrey said is absolutely correct, but all those steps may add 45mins to your install. Getting them in will be the hardest part.

Hope this helps...Good Luck!

Hi, I received the HID kit today, but the kit looks like for other car, NOT for Mercedes, because there is NO resistor built in. When I put down the order on web, I put down the kit is for my 2007 E350. Can I send it back and get the right one ?? my order number is 1520.

Check your packaging as my resistors came separately from the ballasts in the same packge though. You have to connect the resistors to the ballast and the bulb...hope that helps.
