Hi dynomite05,
Did you get the installation instructions the one like this?
http://www.hidextra.com/wil/SPHarness.pdf
The capacitor could only be installed between ballast and wire harness.
the order is
bulbs--> ballast --> special capacitor --> wire harness --> oem connector.
If it wasn't the capacitor most likely burnt out and we'll need to send you another one.
To be safe, please call us 860-821-8212 between 10am-4pm and I'll transfer you to talk to our technician to get this resolved. Thanks!

Michelle, I have a big problem...
The capacitors arrived..I connected one to make sure it works and when I turn the lights on the fog light blinked twice and then the capacitor popped! After the pop my headlights went out. Now neither the headlights or the fog lights work. My city lights, signals and corners are working fine. I checked the fuses and they are good. I'm not getting any errors on my dash either. I can't take it to my mechanic till Monday. I have no clue what happened!

HI Dynomite05,
Sorry that this happened to you, give us a call on Monday and I promise since this is our capacitor's error after installation, I can get you an exchange or any damaged parts after my technician diagnoses the problems. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Hey Michelle,
I see from the first post..
What is the difference between single beam for $60 and dual beam(bixenon) for $90?
Email me I think I may get the high beam and fog light conversion HID kit...
I got my lights last Friday...after the install everything went well 6000K are perfect just a slight tint of blue...Thank you again...

Hi Henry,
Your bulb type doesn't come in dual beam, those are bulb type and car specifics. But dual beams are two bulbs and in bulb base so a metal piece inside the bulb shifts to change focus point from low to high beam.
In your car and in most cars, low beam and high beam are separate in different housing, so the dual beam bulbs will not fit you car.
2009 MERCEDES-BENZ C-class (With halogen capsule headlamps)
High beam headlamp
H7
Fog/Driving light
H11
What color would you like your H7 and H11? I can get you the links.
Thanks~
Michelle

can someone post up pics of their 5000k or 6000k lights? I'm going to go with 5000 or 6000k for the fogs and get the bulbs to match for the low beams...i want mainly white with a hint of blue...

HEy sssson,
I chose 6000K for my low beam...I just installed them last friday and was happy with the results....bright white w/ a hint of blue...i was originally going to get the 8K but too much blue for me...
Just ordered 8K high beam and 6K fog light to match my low beam...
I will post pictures after I install all of them to get a picture....
5000K may not have a hint of blue tint....check previouse post for pictures of 6000 and 8000K lights...
Good luck

i would go with 8000Ks then my man if you want that tint of blue, because HID extra's HIDS' 6000K is cyrstal pure white white, like i said its a step whiter and brighter from the OEM HIDs...its BRIGHT! maximum light output, i still have the reflector headlamps ,stock will be switching out to the projector headlamps here soon, i already leveled the aim of the lights lower and they still light up everything..its nice, but they're not blinding bright, i made sure the its aimed nice ill post of my pics tomorrow, i cant find my camera

Nope, I haven't been able to call. Still have one blown capacitor! No idea what caused the problem, when I turnned on the lights the capacitor just popped. Thank goodness my head lights are working with no problem...I will try the bulb with the good capacitor tomorrow and see what happens.

HI Nate! THanks for the feedback and installation review! If you want to swap out to the 6000K I can get that arranged for you to get it exchanged but you would need to send the 8000K back to us first, let me know ![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
