Great site I just bought a 2000 Brilliant Silver E55 AMG today. She only has 40,500 miles on her, and looks like she just rolled off the showroom floor. The previous owner is a dentist, and he apparently flossed more than his teeth every day. I look forward to learning detailed owner's information that could only be found on forums such as this one. Ruben.

Always plans for mods. Precisely why I joined this forum. I want to see which mods are worthwhile. As soon as my wallet cools down (I just blew $25K for this beauty): Let the mods begin. Here she is. Totally stock, and totally flawless, '00 E55 AMG with only 40,500 miles on the clock.

Pretty impressive car for the money, isn't it?

But... pretty sad depreciation for current owners

Congrats!

Yup. Bought it on Ebay. I also monitered the one for $27,995. But, she had 55K on the clock. This one had 15K less mileage, and the reserve was $25,500. I met the reserve, and no one challenged me. I flippin' stole the thing. A low mileage 00 E55 AMG in Calfornia retails for $35K +

Hey jamE55...I'm about to mod mine out..which ONE are you talking about?? I was going to EVO, since I think VIC55 is a STUD!! But I see Kleeman on your, too. Do they do different things? I get scared about mixing tuners.

Jangy,

Definitely get scared about mixing tuners. This is something I would highly recommend not mixing tuners. If you're going to go with either Evo then stick with Evo and if you're going to go with Kleemann go with Kleemann only. The problem you're going to have is, if there's something wrong with the car you might run into tuners pointing fingers at who's fault the problem is. The one i'm talking about is Kleemann which i have and very happy with it. Vic has the Evo Stage 2 along with other mods and he's also happy with his. You can't go wrong with either tuners. Both Evo and Kleemann make great products.
