I just recently lowered mine with H&R but was very displeased with the ride quality...keep in mind that I run 19's (Carlsson)...but I wish I could go back to factory ride quality. The E55 looks great lowered, but now the ride quality is really bothering me....just my thoughts.

Thats Exactly What I Am Worried About, Do Any Springs Lower And Maintain Ride? I Would Hate To Go Thru All That Expense. Does Anyone Know About Progressive Springs?

H&R springs are linear rate not progressive rate thats why they ride so rough. I used Intrax progressive rate springs on my S-class W140 and they are fantastic, they lower the ride height about 1 inch roughly and they feel fantastic on normal roads, you can barely tell they are aftermarket springs but once you start to take corners you reall feel the difference. As far as performance on the track obviously H&Rs are better but honestly i dont think its worth the sacrifice on a mercedes. I just checked to see if Intrax has progressive rate springs for your model and they have a bunch for the W210. i got mine at a substantial discount price from a intrax distributor off ebay. normally they are $349 retail and i think i paid roughly $250 shipped new. hope that helps.

Romeo, I believe Kleemann makes progressive springs. I would also get the Kleemann dampers.

Romeo,

So which springs did you decide to go with. I was thinking of going with the INTRAX since they are progressive and I'm really concerned with ride quality, but want the lowered look.
