Used E63
MB of Sugarland had an E63 with the same equipment as the one above, with 3,265 ticks. It's gone, sold in a heartbeat for $82K.
What is sad is how many people would snap 'em up at say $80 thousand and feel like they stole something. Be patient, by next summer you will start to see some. If you can't wait until summer, this spring there should be a good lease promotion that won't last long. Otherwise $85 is the price of poker for a new E63.

Rock,
Just out of curiosity what would be a respectable time for a stock e63? I have raced a few late model e55’s and stayed right with them (one I beat miserably, but this proved to be an anomaly). Not sure of the ¼ mile as we have not raced to that distance. I can go to California Speedway, but the next open meet is not until April. I will post then. However, I’m getting sick and tired of the disrespect. Where do you live? Perhaps you can join me?

Really, there is no need to get worked-up, just having a little fun here. I did actually drive an E63 and I know it’s a great car and I like the styling more than the E55 (I bet you're feeling better now).
Performance wise, I would expect a ¼ mile time of 12.5 or less @ 114-117mph. The reality is ……………. we've only seen a few at the track and most of them did not reach the aforementioned figures.
As far as meeting up……….if your game for a road trip to Ohio, let’s dance!!!
Finally, please don’t get the wrong impression. I ‘m not foolish enough to believe Mercedes would updated its product line with an inferior automobile.
Peace out!!

First off, I would have never made any disparaging remarks if I ‘d known that someone actually owned an E63 (Jangy, thanks for the inaccurate information).

Your right, perhaps I do get a little worked up over disparaging remarks on the e63. Perhaps buyer’s remorse (or not)…I don’t know. But I don’t want it to be true. This is a dream car of mine. When I finally got to the position to purchase one, you don’t know how excited I was. Truth be told, and based on recent experience, I think it has gotten faster. That’s my point, and as always no disrespect to the 55’s, but I think it will put down more respectable times now that it has a few thousand miles. So, being defensive or not, I want to prove it (or disprove it to my regret). Don’t think I’ll be in Ohio any time soon. I will post when I have some ¼ mile times…
Vadim…sorry for the thread jack.
