AMG on Boomtown
On the new NBC show Boomtown, they had a pretty cool police chase with an E55 AMG.
It was obsidian black and was used in a drive by shooting.

The engine on the E55 sounded like it was a Formula One car going 7,000 RPM's.

OK, I just checked the previews on the show and it dowsn't look like an E55,
no chrome tail pipe
no AMG wheels, somewhat nice home wheels seem like 18" though.
I doubt they would want to use an E55 to get banged by an 18 wheeler. IMO

They probably didn't use a real E55, but they wanted people to think it was an E55. They probably bought a used E320 loaner from a dealership, then changed the wheels and added an AMG badge, lol.

I did notice that the used various E320's - the car used in the collision and later used for finger printing was a 1996 E320 with chrome 8-Hole wheels. The car had a power antenna only found on the 96. One scene the car had a solid grey interior and later the car had charcoal with the contrasting grey piping around the seats. The other car used was the 2002 E320 Special Edition - I noticed the 6 spoke wheels during the scene at the basketball court.

That sucks, why to they think people won't notice those things?
