2000 E55
Brake pads
Ok the squealing started on my brakes i guess is time for new brake pads...I had the OEM ones and wow they can dust a lot ...looking for some dust free ones any recommendations?

I have use the Porterfield R4-S for my 01 E55 for 5,000 miles. They seem to work very nicely. I haven't really put them through the test but others on this board have had some really good things to say. I ordered my online from Porterfield. The pads also had holes drilled for the brake sensors so that was cool.

what about dust wise? are they better or worst than stock one.

You can't find a dust free pad out there, anything that wear out will leave something behind. EBC green stuff is the one pad i use that leave low brake dust behind. They work really good and you will clean your wheel less.

True, but ceramic leave a light colored dust that takes longer to notice. I have ceramic on the front.

EBC pad are made out of Kevlar, Zero carbon content, extremely low disc abrasion, and low dust formula. Front are very hard to find still on back order. I had to jump threw many hoops just to get my hand on the front.
