Assuming the rim design clears our larger brake setup, and that the offsets are near stock (31mm F; 35mm R), you stand a good chance. Other things to consider are correct aftermarket lug bolt design and dimensions (OEM is 12mm/1.5 "/40mm [1.5 "], and are specifically designed to fit OEM rims), and correct tire fitments (I would recommend 245/35/19 F; 285/30/19 R) Note: 255/35/19 F is the optimum size for an 8.5 " rim, but prone to tire rub issues (suspension nut). Good luck.

I'd be more worried about the front. That 8.5 et35 will not fit with a 245 tire. For a 8.5 width you may need an offset between et25 and et29 for an E55. The front suspension cradle setup may be different on non AMG cars allowing 8.5 et35 to fit plus they usually recommend a 235 width tire. Tire Rack and other wheel sellers will say a 245 tire on a 8.5 et35 will fit a W210 E55 but those that have tried were not successful.

I had problems going from OEM 18x8.0 et31 to 18x8.0 et35 using a 245/40/18 tire.

For the most part, I agree. Nonetheless, very few 245/40/18 tire designs fit an 8.5 rim. I am one of the few that got lucky. I applied a Falken FK452, and have less than an 1/8 " between the tire and the suspension nut. However, applying to a 245/35/19 anything may present problems being that the diameter is increased just a hair. Good luck.

Hey there. I have 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 and they fir great with no problem. My offset is 35mm front and rear on the wheels, and my tire size is 235/35 19 & 265/30 19. The fronts are very close, and I think 245 may to wide as well. But the 19x10 isn't as big a question as the front.

Do you think you'd be able to put 275/30's on your rear rims without any rubbing issues?

Seems that there are alot of aftermarket 19x8.5's and 19x9.5's with +35 Offsets just like yours... and while most people recommend 265's on the rear, Can someone verify that 275's will or will not work with a 9.5 width and +35 offset in the rear?

Thanks!
J.J.

Tires and wheels

On E320 4Matic Do you have to run same size rim and tires or can you stagger them and if so what size is good?:

Well, I can tell you this... judging by what I have on there right now, it looks like 275 could fit no problem. I personally think it can be done. The only reason I have 265 on the back is because that was the package size. I saw other package sizes at other online stores like 245/275.

i have 19x8.5 35mm with 245/35/19 & 19x10 40mm with 275/30/19 and it fit perfect! Tuck under the fender with H&R springs.
