are you going to magazine spec-race or actually take the car to the track?
if you know how to drive on the track and launch properly, your E55 will own that 335. 400ft lb of torque >>> 335 . you've dragged a lot already, right?

ROFLMFAO, nah I'm not going to magazine spec-race... and yup, I've done it before... but specs are intimidating especially since I've never driven a 335.

Everyone on here has said nice things about the 335i. Saying it is very quick...I would try it, but I don't know the outcome. I bet you'll both be surprised.
No camcorder... funny how I can afford a E55 but not a camcorder, I don't even have a digital camera. ROFLMFAOWell today, he took me for a spin in his 335 (it was pretty quick) and I took him for a spin... he agreed mine's was faster by alot and backed off. Looks like I WIN by him wimping out. ROFLMFAO

yay u get to call him a pu$$Y for the next 10 years
will you get to kick him in teh ballz b/c he wimped out?
I have mixed feelings about that.
I raced a new M5 a while back. And off the line I got the jump. I took him to about 60mph before he started to pass me. I also took M3 conv. I think it has alot to do with driver, pavement and how well you launch. HP & torque is great as long as you know how to race.

Pops has an E550 and as quick as it is it doesn't feel quite as fast as the E55. But maybe it's because his suspension is so much softer.
335i vs W210 E55 stock = close race.
The 335i has a curb weight advantage of almost 200lbs while the torque of the E55 will get it off the line.
I'll let you borrow my car and just tell him it's stock.
LOL

This would be hilarious, as would be the look on the other guys face.
