hello guys..im planning to install some ams pulley to the car and im wondering if you need any special tool or better said do you need to install the pulley in some correct way or its just replace old install new?
do i need to reset or put the car on timming or anything in those way?

The one tool you want is hold the pulley while properly tightening the pulley down. There are a few different tools out there that will hold the pulley as you tighten it down to the crank. Other then that I believe it is a 17mm to loosen the tensioner for the serpentine belt and a 36mm for the cooling fan WARNING the cooling fan is a reverse thread.

I installed the AMS pulley myself with my buddy and it's not too difficult. You only need a breaker bar to get the pulley off if yours is as tight as mine was. Once off check your pulley gasket and make sure there isn't any damage to it then just bolt on the new pulley and new bolt. To tighten, you don't need any special tools; just open the tiny rubber cap on the bottom of the tranny to expose the torque converter and stick the tip of a strong flat screwdriver in there to hold it while you tighten the pulley, that's it! Reset your ECU with the hold down the gas pedal and key method and the pulley will be learned in a few days. Enjoy!
