Very interesting on the S/C.
Seller mentions that the S/C is an Eaton Roots type but the picture itself looks like a Twin-Screw. He probably just gave the wrong description. Although the price for the s/c by itself sounds fair.
Buy it Now price for the Headers of $4,500.00 is a joke! Brand new retail on that when it came out was around $3k+.

at a glance s/c looks like it's all there... except for the heat exchanger and pump. you thinking about making the leap, Peter?
for reference, I paid 8500 for used s/c, headers, downpipes, and cats in the summer.
+1 on the headers

I'm seriously thinking about it
But i only can afford the SC, ECU upgrade plus Labor for now. Header and downpipe will have to wait. You guys think i can do without the header and downpipe??
I'm getting different HP & Tq increase from different people. what am i looking to gain from just the SC and ECU upgrade.

Thanks Ted! 500hp sound more realistic than 550hp they told me. I hate to buy a used superchrger and find out later it missing parts. Than I'll be screwed. I have to get more info from the seller before i buy it or work out a deal on a new one with local Kleemann dealer.
thanks guys!

..........I second that the s/c price is a very good deal. It is indeed a twin screw. Yes you can get headers done later or never. Realistic HP increase is 125-150. Meaning around 500HP to the crank. Anything claims beyond this is BS. You'll have to dump some serious addtional cash in your car to get the 550HP Kleemann promised.

+1 to both Ted and James
and you can definitely do it with or without headers or ECU upgrade. Trust me, it's a whole new beast with s/c
I would ask a local Kleemann dealer for a BOM to see what is supposed to come with the regular kit, then compare to what the seller is offering. Probably missing the thermostat housing too. A bigger Heat Exchanger is a good idea anyway.. blackbenzz did a larger custom one. You will also need a new airbox, and engine cover, either a W211 E55, or a W210 E430. I think the W211 E55 box is sexier, but it might take some cutting to make it fit in W210 engine bay. I went with E430 box and cover, here's a pic.

SO far they knock off $500 off $10K on the SC. Labor still around $4K. I'm trying to get them to threw in the ECU upgrade for free
It seen like the saleman want my business. He called me twice this week. He also the installer.

xlr8tin,
In a nutshell as what Peter said the twin screw's are better but then again they are no longer being made.
Peter,
You should jump on this one.

Hey Jeff, the Gen-II SC come with the E430 airbox. Does the E430 engine cover fit around the SC like in your car or did you have it custome made? I like the clean factory look.

4K sounds a little steep just for labor. I think it's supposed to be 2k for the standard install... and then if you do anything else custom that's additional. For 4K I would expect the ECU.

I want to but this SC kit is not set up for W210 E55. what if part missing or something don't fit right. I might end up paying more for it in the long run. Beside I just talked to the installer about installing a used SC and he told me he don't recommend buying use kit. No warranty and missing part like nuts and bolts that will delay the installation. More labor and parts. etc.etc. etc..

Call Cory at Kleemann and tell him to e-mail you a list of what is exactly included in this kit when it was still being offered. Send that list to the buyer and ask him to check off what he is including on that kit he is selling. If certain parts are missing ask Cory if you can order it through him. Done deal.
f.y.i $4k for installation is expensive.

1) He purchased this kit in 2007 new directly from Kleemann and the Autorotor has been discontinued for at least 2 years now.
2) The housing is the SAME on the roots/EATON as on the twin-screw/AUTOROTOR. Only the M273 (550 4-VALVE) motors have the new flatter housing while the M113 (500 &55 3-VALVE) motors retain the same more rounded and taller housing.
Go to the www.Kleemannusa.com and see for yourself.

This cannot be a twin-screw/AUTOROTOR for the following reasons.

$7K for it is not bad if everything is there, but I don't see airbox, the SC water cooler, and I'm sure there other missing part as well. I sent the sell a message about providing a part list of everything so i can compare it with Kleemann PL. so far he hasn't replyed.
7K now but i'm sure i will be paying more for it later.
