I really dont understand the US fascination with these. Is it just me or would you agree they look god damn awful?

Sorry YM, not for me.

Guys, a bra on a car is not a fashion statement, I have a need for one as love bug season is upon Florida now. Until you are experienced you would not understand the need.

Yacht Master, I can relate to what you're talking about concerning those Florida love bugs sure can do damage to your paint if not corrected immediately. I had a 66 Corvette when I was stationed (USN) in Orlando. It seems like I had to wash it every day during the season. Go ahead and get the bra, better the bra than the paint, fashion out the window.

I have experience as I drive thru the salad bowl of CA all the time. Get a clear bra. Why ruin the look of your beautiful car when you can get the protection you need in a better looking way?

Can't unhook the clear bra and throw it in a washer.
I know what I want. Don't care what it looks like.
Just not in to cleaning 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
Sun baked bugs entrails off the car after a trip. OK

A Word

of caution about a bra....keep it clean and always take it off so it can dry if it gets wet...keep the front end under the bra waxed and polished....the light dirt that gets under a bra can and will scratch your paint.

I will have to agree with Yacht Master on this one. I recently moved back to Boston but I was living in Miami for 2 years at the end of my stay I had to commute to Fort Lauradale and back... I still have flash backs it was awful. Everyday when I get home I would at least wash her down. Get the bra but make sure you park in a garage the FL sun will and can give you a 2 tone look if not. just an fyi

YachtMaster is so right... don't flame him especailly if you never experienced the FL. LOVEBUGS!

Last year I drove my RAV4 from Boca to Orlando and I had a gazillion bugs all over the front!!! It was nasteeeeey! Ate up some of my clearcoat in no time! I was so pissed I ended up selling it after a few months.... SOOO, a bra is for a purpose... please don't flame its usefulness.

The Sport and the AMG Bra is the same. Colgan also made one in the carbon Fiber material...It works great for road trips

Easy guys, I am not, nor was I flaming anybody.

A lot of people don't know about clear bras and I was just trying to throw it out there as a better looking solution. If you want a leather bra and it works for you go for it. I was just trying to help out.

Don't worry bro... no bad intentions. It's these dang FL bugs that are a menace to our cars' clearcoat/paint. Their juices and acids eat up the body in no time! Clear or leather bras are both likely good solutions. Peace.
