2000 W210 E55// 2007 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner
After reading Peter's problems, I think Kleeman makes quality stuff....It's the installer that makes or breaks the reliability. Keep in mind, you can sell your car, with the cost of the Stage III, you can pick up a W211 E55 that will run if not outrun a Stage III W210, it will probably be a little cheaper at this point. I just can't imagine dumping that kind of coin into a W210 with prices of the W211 dropping like a rock each day....just a thought. Your video's rock...just goes to show that torque, gearing, driver..shouldn't be overlooked. I want to meet up with a E550, they seem to think they are faster...I will say our 2:82:1 gearing with 600lbs less will win out. The gearing on a E550 is in the neighborhood of 2:52:1.....I think that will more than make up the 30+ ponies it has over our cars....if only a ring an pinion swap to a 3:08:1 was cost effective...our cars would simply haul *** off the line.

45acp>> No, only rolling starts this time.
Tacjam >> I see you point. But as I live in Sweden the prices on W211 is probably a bit higher the in the states
And I know I might be in the minority, but my eyes prefer the more classic look of an W210 E55 compared to a W211 that in my eyes looks a bit more of a sport limousine, not saying they look bad but I think the W210 is more brutal in a more charming way if that makes any sense

I agree with your statement about the W210...it has a classic MB look of the W124 and at the same time, it has an updated look of a W211...our center console simply rocks...I love the look of it....but when it comes to performance...the W211 and 500ft lbs of torque is OUTRAGOUS! You're talking about roughly $20+K your going to invest...in Sweden your car probably brings in the neighborhood of $30K+....W211 will be in the high $20K to mid $20K range in 12 months (maybe quicker if our gas prices hit $5) Ever considered or thought about importing one from the US to sweden? I bet you can do that and still save $10K, but if you love your car so much.....I do, I do...understand making it the badest machine it can possibly be. I hope your convinced your going to keep it forever before you make this decision....One question though, what did you do to get 320whp?

I think the W210 has the weight on it's side compared to a W211 if I'll go with a stage 3. And it would be quite nice to give the new M5 E60 a good match with my old 55

It's just full flow exhaust and ECU upgrade. I think i have a great example of an E55 here

That has to be a tuned M5.. my friend has an 03 e39 M5 stock, and I had kept up with him from the toll to the end of the bridge in san mateo, wasn't too much of competition..
