thx.. from my eye level, it does not compromise forward vision at all, which is really nice. besides it was dirt cheap too

Man that is sweet. Plus anything is better than the crappy MB Navi. I still used paper maps from the internet before I got my iphone. I dont trust MB navi at all.

Where are the wires? Hard wired? Drilled through the dash? Perm mount? I'd be to affaid of the thousands of dollars worth of damage from some low life crack head in Seattle trying to steal it.
