Which out of these cars is the faster and more reliable, has anyone raced an XJR??

What things shall i look out for on an E55 before purchasing?

Don't buy a 98-00 model XJR, they had a recall on the engine.

Buy the E55... our cars are so great, that the XJR borrows the transmission from our cars. Can you say quality?

XJR uses the automatic tranny technology from AMG.

I understand that they both share the same gearbox, what i dont understand is that the gearbox seems to be unreliable in the Jag and it breaks down a lot due to the box not being able to handle all the torque which seems odd as the E55 produces more torque than the Jag

easier to do burnouts in it though if that's your thing, but be ready to get hit hard with issues
