weight of the hood and trunk?
hi guys! anyone has any idea on how much the front hood and rear trunk of our cars weigh? is it heavy im planing on chinging the stock hood and trunk into carbon fiber to lighten the car .. do you think its a good idea? thanks

yup here in philipinnes is the factory of STAGE21 a carbon fiber manufacturer that exports panels to japan and USA. thanks they can make me a custom made ine since one of the owner is my friend. thanks

Not worth the time or the $$$. The fit will likely be terrible and need extensive modifications and trimming.
And unless your car is black, it will look hideous unless you color match paint over the c/f

what are te things that we can do to drop weight? regarding the fitment STAGE21 is known in JAPAN to have a very goo quality and durability. it has een winning races and shows with thir carbon fiber kits. they will be molding it with my car for proper fitment as of cost it woul cost around 1500USD for the trunk and hood.

im planing on doing the hood and trunk then paint it with the same color of my body but leaving some parts where they can see carbon. so it will be more of a simple sleeper car on highway but when parked you can see the carbon fiber
