I'm thinking of going with a gunmetal (dark gray) wheels and grill. I wanted to see if anyone has any thoughts before I do it.

I was going to spray my grill gunmetal, sell my Lorinser wheels, and spray a set of AMG monoblocks gunmetal. How would this look?

I think Gunmetal would be a good look on a silver car... are you planning on painting the monoblocks or the aftermarket ones you have in your photo?

I was going to paint the monoblocks and sell the Lorinser that I have on now.

I had black wheels on my silver CLK and bronze wheels on my silver WRX. I'm hoping the gunmetal would look good with silver.

Scotty, I think your 5 spoke CLS wheels would look great blacked out. Or are you going aftermarket?

It will have to depend on the gunmetal color. Mine start to look a gunmetal color a few days after a wash. Well not anymore since I got Akebonos, but either way you don't want clean rims to looks dirty or dusty

Nope, i got a set of aftermarket 20's for my car. Should be getting them back from powder coater tomorrow. We'll see.

i say go for it .. but then agaiin i love the gunmetal look personally so im alil biased . with the grill i think it will make the car look mean as hell lol
