Congrats on your purchase
Not playing detective or anything, but I did notice that the 02 that was for sale @ the Car Factory is gone. You did purchase a black/black 02 with low miles.... So 2+2 tells me you made a splendid choice. Rock it!!

Yes, did buy the Blk on Blk there. It was a 3 week process, had the car checked carefully, had other deals in the works, but in the end I liked that the car only had 33K on the clock, interior was in amazing condition, and the car drove strong and tight. Thanks for the Post

2001 E55 - 2008 CLS63 -2016 F-150
Update - I purchased a 2002 E55, with low miles, Black with Charcoal Interior.
I have had the car for just over a week. I cannot express in words how much I enjoy driving this car - the sound of the motor under WOT is pure adult entertainment - does't get any better in my book
When I have time I will post pictures, specs and the story behind my Chase for a W210 E55 - some pretty interesting twists and turns (pardon the pun) along the way.
One thing for sure, this forum has been an invaluable resource in my search for the correct car - thank you to everyone who shared their knowledge on this forum.

If you really want to un-leash extra power from the Beast. Reset the values in the ECU. (higher rpm shift points) Keep in mind it's not permanent but if you find yourself in a lot of traffic or feeling like chasing down M5's reset is a must. I know I do
