Tire predicament. 285/30/19 or 275/30/19?
Most of you know that i'm looking to replace my tire. I know it's been forever. lol!
Here's the situation. I'm only looking to get a Michelin brand. Problem is the Pilot Super Sport doesn't come in a 285/30/19 size(it's either 275/30/19 or 295/30/19). However, the discontinued and out going model PS2's does have a 285/30/19 but again it's disco.
So the question is.
1. Do i just get the 275/30/19 and be done with it?
2. Keep on waiting to see if there is going to be a 285/30/19 PSS in the future?
3. Just get the discontinued PS2 in the 285/30/19 size?
4. Or go for broke and see if a PSS 295/30/19 will work?
Almost leaning towards the 275/30/19 PSS because it's cheaper and has longer thread wear.
HHHmmmm.....

If you are on a 10" rim, go with 275. If you are on a 10,5 i would go for the 285. 285 on a 10" rim is to much rubber on the edge and will look a bit like a BMW M5 E60 stock rim 285/35 on a 9,5" rim

a 10'' rim is a perfect fit for a 285 width tire. i use tire rack, they have a lot of good info. if you go to 'specs' of the tire they tell you what width rim you should have for the tire.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Appreciate it. I think at this point I'll wait just a bit longer and see if the Pilot Super Sport will be available in the 285's.
Thanks
