When I upgraded to Kleemann headers Ohlord suggested that I should have just extrude honed the stock manifolds. I don't think extrude honing would help much at all. The stock manifolds are not cast iron lumps like the ones in the picture you have. They are more like sheet metal tubes inside a heat shield. This link shows W211 exhaust manifolds cut up. They look very similar to the W210 manifolds.
