A few new things under the hood *Pics*
Hello!
Long time no see
I've done a few new things on my E55 and thought i'd post a few pics of it here
82 mm TB with a 92mm MAF pipe, and that made me go from the W211 double airbox intake to a singel one on the side on the engine. So i put the new (E430) engine cover on last week and i think it looks pretty good and clean after all.
Only thing left is to put a few more clutch discs in the tranny and do a TCU upgrade, then it's ready for some

Well, now after two years with the blower i can finally see the end of this and start to enjoy the car It's a LONG story, but if i was about to do it again i would'nt do it, to much hassle. Well, i still LOVE this car and once i get the tranny fixed it will be a monster!! Engine feels sooo strong at only 0,6 bar boost. 4'th gear pulls on the highway is nothing but amazing.
Another new thing is the new clear projectors i mounted two days ago. Again, looks much better IMHO then the stock "frog" lights

Out Of Control!
Magnus,
How come you can't use the W211 double airbox setup? Was it because of the 92mm MAF or what was it that 's preventing you from using it? Looks clean though.

Hmm, no they are not Anzo. It's the normal Taiwan made sh*t The light picture is better then my stock Xenon. But these have a strange stray light outside the normal light picture. I changed them out myself, had to take the front down. Let me know if you have any more questions

Yes, it was to little space to make a twin 90 mm pipe down to the throttle body if i hade gone with the E55 W211 boxes. I now Blackbenzz made a custom one using the W211 boxes, but i also think there is a little more space back around the fire wall/TB on the CLK55 the on our E55 W210.
