Front wheel alignment / Specs
So I went in for a 4 wheel alignment everything looks good but they told me that the front camber bolt was to tight to adjust and they didn't want to strip it.
So am I ok within specs. It's not to bad off but I'm already seeing some tread getting going bad on the inner wall hence chamber.
Before -1.9
Actual -1.8
Specified Range
-1.6 -0.9
= 0.2 off
Thoughts? am I good or should I have my indy torch and get that camber bolt loose?

armani..how's the ride with eibach pro with bilstein hd? i'm guessing the drop isn't significant enough to get a kmac kit? where did you source your parts? was labor expensive?

The ride is great Bilstein HD is the stock AMG shock some have gone with the sport but as we both now that would just chatter your teeth away as it would be one hella of a bumpy ride.
Apparently you don't need to go w/the kmac kit.
see here pics of drop

You are fine according to the acceptable range and the Camber kit only adjusts +/- 20' which is only 0.33 degrees which is minor. So you could go from -1.8 to -1.5 which may help. I'd say with that Eibach kit, your Camber looks way better than what I have seen on other dropped cars.

Thanks for the info!

Ouch... that story will go on and on with New England potholes. Sorry I can't remember but the Eibach I want to say Ebay and the bilstein I also can't remember just checked my gmail for invoice nada...
Thanks for the compliment. I'm selling her next Jan.
Retrofit looks amazing at night with the nice laser cut beam. Best mod to date- and hardest mod to date. My friend did the wiring and most of the work. He told me that was the last one lol. as it's really a lot of work. We also had to go in there a 2nd time which meant removing the bumper again. However it was all worth it. wish I could help you there.
Have you heard of yuppie racing in New England?

Yuppie racing has a few good shows this year. Last year we did a run from boston to Mohegan Sun Casino. 50+ cars a lot of high end sports cars. You should head out this summer with us. I can check out your CF airbox

Seeing as how this became the Boston thread, I might as well quit lurking and post! Better late than never right Armani?
Although I don't know anything about the specific camber curves of the E55, I'd generally be happier if I could get closer to 1.0°. That said, if the front tires stick and you can live with the tire wear you're seeing, there shouldn't be any other problem.
Anyway, I'm Keith, I live in Woburn, and I daily drive a well-used 2000. Here she is on winter tires:

Sorry, went away to Vegas for a while.
Anyway, yep, that's me. All I've done is Plasti Dip the grille and chrome strips, smoked markers, and a full stereo. The headlights were on the car when I got it, complete with the awful "stock" projectors. I'll be looking to do a retrofit with good parts here pretty soon.
What I need to do first is exhaust. Know of any good local shops that'll do a header install plus some cat/x-pipe work?

I'm going in 4 wheel alignment as well. I have 20" brabus wheels/w fallken tires and all 4 are going bad from the inside out. I'm averaging 8k on the rears and 10k on front. I'm sure this can't be the norm
I just ordered some ventus v12 and then to alighnment shop.

I should really go talk to Lou's. My car sounds like an old pickup at this point! But I've already got a set of AMSs on the shelf here. ;-)
