Fog lights stopped working... HELP!

I was replacing the bulbs in my fog lights today with LED's. Did them on the license plate, city lights, and the whole interior without a problem.

When I went to screw the first LED into its socket in the fog light housing it turned on real quick and then went out. The bulb in the other fog (still stock not changed yet) also went out. I'm positive this is not a bulb issue, pretty sure I blew a fuse somewhere. The rear fog light DOES still work. The little green "fog light on" light next to the light switch does not light up anymore.

Anyone have some advice for me?

And to add on to what I said before, the bulb that wasn't replaced yet shut off right when the LED did as well so this is probably not an issue of the harnesses being bad. I had that happen on my '97 E300 and know how that goes.

I looked but I have no idea which one controls the front fogs. Is it the one for the courtesy lights?

Where to start? The Italians or the Germans?
My advice would be to leave the lights alone. They work just fine the way it came from the factory. Just sayin'

Got it fixed, it blew fuse #9 in the box next to the door panel.

That's my thought. Fancy lights look good, but the stock ones work great IMO.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. They may look good, but I love how much light the oem fogs emit. Turn them on at night and it's bloody well bright. Helps dodging all the potholes around this blasted town. They illuminate both sides of the road on a two lane (one each way) highway.

Post up some pictures with them on at night when you get a chance.
