Yes, but this car is a Modelyear 2000 (build 07/13/1999 with SA 800 - Modelyear 2000) and NOT 2001 with ME2.8, he has ME2.0 and then this ESP Module is 100% correct.
Or am i getting something wrong?

... jep it is ... but if you ask me ... much more fun then making a E55 out of a E430. I think it is much more fun making something that you could NOT buy from a dealer
Little update:
waiting for an apointment at the local dry-ice-cleaner to clean up my valve covers and the compressor.
Changes to the engine so far:
- 82mm TB
- Headers (from Kleemanns original manfacturer before they where made in china)
- RENNtech Software ... 08/15 so far until i'll finish the mechanical parts and found time to drive over to RENNtech for the fine tuning.
- Speedlimit delete
- 172mm Crank Pulley
I am wondering how much HP this will add to the "normal" 500...
Service was made everything ... without opening the engine, Sparks, all bearings, Crankshaft radial seal ring front and rear, oil, all seal in/at/from the compressor, all rubber hoses.
greetings, Fabian

What did you have to change in order to fit the E55 air box into your wagon? I am trying to figure out how to get the driver's side tube to lock in.

You have the Change the complete Radioator with all waterhoses and its housing, the Vacuum Line to the Brake Booster, the Fuel Line and the Air duct in the hood to fit the AMG Airbox.

Do you just swap it with the factory 55 parts or was there some modification for the 430? What housing are you talking about? I am just thinking that there is more air flow with the 55 box.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I swaped my whole engine from 430 to 55 ... i swaped everything that was different between 55 and 430...
engine, transmission, sahft, diff, brakes, airbox, hood air duct, radiator etc.
The Plastic Housing around the radiator ist different, the radiator of the e55 has its main water connection on the bottom and not like the e430 on the top! where the e430 has its water connection the e55 has the 2nd air intake.

I wonder if it is worth the swap. Love the way it looks. Sure it has better air flow. But as this car is only until my project is done, it might not be worth it. Time and money would be better spent on the project. If I can find a wrecked 55 then maybe..
Thanks for the help.

i dont think you gain anything except optic... there are supercharged 4.3L Engines with the stock Airfilter ...
i dont think its worth the money and the work.

Fabian,
I put an E55K airbox to my friend 2000 E430 last year,
1) we hammered the right fire wall (beside the CAN box), to give more space for right box to sit in the rubber mount,
2) moved the fuel hose little bit with clamp it, to avoid not touching the lift airbox,
3) used the tubes from W220, but not remember if they from S320 or S500,
im using E55K in my W202 C55 as well, i didn't dyno the car, but i can positively sure driving is different & better than stock box, at least IMO,
i believe, its a good upgrade for an N/A M112 & M113....

Hi ..
Thanks
Long time no update and acutal i am on my way to the garage so i let my pictures speak for me
unfortunatelly the headers where made for the W203/W209/W211/W220 Generation so they wont fit the W210. I now orderes a pair of headers directly at Kleemann DK ... hopefully they will arrive on Monday so i could fit in the engine finaly
greetings, Fabian
