Yes Fabian, your conclusion is right so far,,
ME2.0 can be worked with EGS52, but need to reflash it & expand the data/file to calibrated it with EGS52,
that’s definitely depend to the tuner skills....![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

Finaly:
Thanks to RENNtech Engineering Germany the TCU Software based on the CLK DTM / SLR Software where modified to work in my W210.
A W211 E55 S/C shifts like a E200 compared to mine![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)
Shifting is so fast now ... even the RPM Indicator is to slow to point to the correct RPM in time![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Sound is a little tinny as i hang the mic out of the car and put it in a towel to eleminate the wind noise ... after all not a good idea

Yeah, but i think in 2000/2001 such a shifting wasnt even possible with the old non-speedshift transmissions

Let me quote Wikipedia ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The Main Benefits, compared to the W210 non-Speedshift Transmission, are:
- Torque converter Lock-up from 1st gear, w210 has it in 3rd gear
- it can downshift 2 gears at once, kickdown in 5th gear will directly go to 3rd not to 4th gear.
- EXTREM fast shiftings at all
The CLK-DTM has even shorter shiftings but it is only possible with the Maybach valves in the valvebody, these are used in late 722.643 transmissions. mine came from a 2004 SL55 and still had the W140 Valves inside. I changed all of them to the W240 Valves (Modulate Pressure, Shift Pressure and Torque Converter Lock-up)
In numbers i would say the CLK-DTM Transmission compared to the original Transmission shifts 3 to 4 times faster. As i said, videos cant show what you feel when you drive such a transmission. But believe me ... it is fantastic and worth any penny i spend on this project!![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Speedshift (2001-)
A performance feature set for the Mercedes-Benz transmissions, which includes manual mode, active downshifting. When cornering at high speed, the transmission maintains the same gear above a certain lateral acceleration level. It can also automatically downshift before overtaking.
It was first used in 2001 Mercedes-Benz C 32 AMG. 2001 Mercedes-Benz SLK 32 AMG.
AMG Speedshift (2002-)
A version with mechanical lock-up of the torque converter from first gear, steering-wheel-mounted shifter. It was first used in 2002 Mercedes-Benz E 55 AMG, S 55 AMG, C55, CL 55 AMG.
AMG Speedshift R
A version used in Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. It includes 3 manual modes.

Fabian,
Did a very short video, after LSD, with ESP-off,,
i didn’t realize ESP will keep flashing till 138km...!!
is the ESP not read the rotational mass correctly through the speed sensor....??

Hey Zayed,
sorry, didnt read your post until now. My overall impression is that the ESP which come along with the ME2.0 is much more sensible then the ESP from the ME2.8. With the ME2.8 Mercedes also renewed the ESP Electronic (Control Unit and all sensors) ... for me it is really difficult to get the ESP blinking since i have the ME2.8 in my car unless i really want it and it only blinks when a wheel is really spinning ... with my old ME2.0 it was similar to yours ... blinking all the way, even with my 4.3L Engine![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Back to my "Project":
There might be a "little" update the next weeks

Hey Zayed,
i dont know, but in knew that the ME2.8 wont work with the ESP Module forom my ME2.0, i had the change the ESP Module as well and with it the sensors at the ABS Block and the Gyro Sensor.
Yep, engine will be in my w210 until may ... i hope![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Oohh, then you will have a most powerFUL W210TK..
,
sooo Excited it, to see it after your magic touch...
,,
My friend got an E55 with ME2.8, and same ESP # that i have,, his ESP flashing till around 70-80km,,
i think flashing is related to the ESP & TCU # version together, sensors are a minor thing, that catch a signals from the ECU,,
what do you think....??

Hmn ... dont know ... the Gyro Sensor is 100% different and the ABS Sensor measure something in another way ... dont know what.
For sure my ME2.8 wasent able to talk with my ME2.0
My Original ESP Control Unit in my Modelyear 2000 E430 was A0295457832, now i have A0315450832 after i switched engine to 5.5 and ME2.8
Regarding to the EPC the A031... was only used since Modelyear 2001 (SA Code 801) and NOT before, since this date also the ME2.8 was installed.
So stock there where no W210 with the OLD ESP Control Units newer then Modelyear 2001.

he cant have the same number if he has PML, PML stands for "Parameterlenkung" ... in englisch "Parameter Steering", BAS stand for "Bremsassistent" (Brake Assist) and ESP ... Elektronisch Stabilisations Programm ... ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
ESP+BAS have different Part Numbers then ESP+BAS+PML Control Units.

regarding to EPC:
A0295457832 is up to Modelyear 2000 or VIN B173999 used only in E200, E200K, E430 and E55 WITHOUT PML, E55 always has PML so i think its only used in E200, E200K and E430.
FROM Modelyear 2001 / VIN B040000 part number A0315450732 (without PML) or A0315450832 is used. In Australia also A0295456332 was used in these cars with PML.
