Got my hood carbon fiber wrap....
Folks....got a wild hair and decided to wrap my hood....what do you think? It came out good after 3 hours.....

It took three hours. The guy has to clean the hood and took out the grille and the padding. Just labor intensive. They had a few nice cars there getting wrap too...a Maserati, Ford GT, and a Lambo....no sure what model.
Anyway, it came out awesome. The younger dude that put it in told me that my wrap is shiner then the 3M stuff they have. I did not tell them I got it off eBay as they might laugh at me
The vinyl is very close to the carbon fiber as I compare it with the air box. It has a very 3D realistic look to it and it probably cost a third of what the shop would charge me for their 3M vinyl.

If you are going for the wrap I can give you the dealer on eBay. This stuff is better then the 3M wrap the shop has because it is a raise 3D looking fabric. That's why it looks more realistic then the flat stuff you see. Price wise, it's cheap too compare to the 3M fabric. Some guy on the C63 forum got his hood wrap so that's how I found out.
