yeah, a grand maybe. Almost 2 grand... nah. Eisenmann is great, but that’s like a whole header/downpipe/ mid section For some cars.
but about the Renntech airbox, what did you like about it, what don’t you like about it?

And! K tunes velocity stack 3.5 inch, allows for the use of a 6in filter. Had a semi new Roto fab filter from a customers ZL1. Also installed Mishimoto dual fan and shroud for a fox body.

So good so far, this fan is for a fox body. Cools like the stock fan, gets up to around 100, and back down to 80ish. Back and forth like it does when it was stock. You will have to figure something out for the radiator hose. I had to trim mine and zip tie it to the side.
Just got my seatbelts back. Sent them off to Safety Restore, everyone should check out their website. Had them retensioned and installed the elegant red belts. Also my headliner was refinished in gray suede. Picking my car up today from the PDR guy, as it had about 3000$ in hail damage. Should have the headliner installed this weekend.

I guess the fact that my 99-E55T with 130,000km is worth about the same money says a lot.
To be fair to the W211 it doesn't present well. Kinda dirty, kinda smelly, no records pass 30,000km. It would have to be much cheaper for me to consider it as a stable mate for the W210.

Finally had some time to get a new X Pipe installed. Now the exhaust system is complete!! Kleeman headers, x pipe, de-catted and no resonator with stock muffler. Sounds and feels great
Had a dead center screen and pixelated temp/gear on the right. Sent in the cluster and had all 3 screens and all the lights replaced. Display is much brighter than before. I guess you get used to seeing a dimmer screen with age.

I been wondering about a Supersprint muffler. I am running the same setup as you right now. Lots of people say they love the sound. I was about to get custom headers made, but the week i called they stopped doing in house fab, health issues. Also wanting to build a ti exhaust. I have a few suspension parts on the way and two interior parts I think lots of people will like.
Also getting a set of used CLK63 rotor hats, so I can run SL65 front 390mm rotors.

She is pretty clean. I spent the winter doing all her seals. Only have 1 valve cover to do along with the dreaded Rear Main. But neither are leaking bad now so gonna let it ride. Your build is coming along well. Bravo 👏. Love seeing this forgotten car getting some love.

I have been looking into a break upgrade. I know you did yours and they look awesome. What is the best setup that doesn't require modifications? From what I researched, the SLK55 front calipers are direct bolt on but I can find what rotors to go with them. Any help would be awesome.

c55 and slk55 calipers bolt up. You need slk55 rotors. I have cls550 w218 rotors and 211 e63 calipers. Required some mods
